Dr. Chih-An Lin (林志安), MD is a board-certified colorectal surgeon and a visiting staff member at Taichung Veterans General Hospital in Taiwan. With extensive training and expertise in robotic-assisted surgery, particularly using the Da Vinci surgical system, Dr. Lin focuses on minimally invasive approaches to colorectal cancer, anal diseases, and complex colorectal conditions. He has significant experience in performing natural orifice specimen extraction (NOSE) techniques and advancing the integration of technology in colorectal procedures.
Dr. Lin's academic contributions include several peer-reviewed publications in SCI-indexed journals, covering topics such as pediatric perianal abscess management, Crohn’s disease, and targeted oncology treatments. His research interests include improving outcomes in colorectal cancer care and investigating treatment strategies for metastatic disease.
