Joon Kim, MD

Joon Kim is a chief general surgery resident at University of Michigan Health - Sparrow. A native of Novi, MI, he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Michigan and went on to complete a year of service teaching in an underserved community of Chicago. he then matriculated to the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where he earned his Medical Doctorate. He is the first of his family to graduate from medical school. Joon enjoys golfing with his family and friends.

Next year, Joon will be completing a fellowship in Colon & Rectal Surgery at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA.
