My name is Hanjoo Lee, and I am an Assistant Professor of Surgery at UCLA School of Medicine and an Assistant Program Director of General Surgery residency program at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. I am double-board certified in general surgery and colon and rectal surgery. My professional societies include Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society. I am an active member of the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, and Southern California Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. My research interests include colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, anorectal pathologies, robotic surgery, and laparoscopic surgery.
