Metincan Erkaya, MD, is a Clinical Research Fellow in the Department of Colorectal Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He recently graduated in 2024 from Acıbadem University School of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey. Dr. Erkaya is passionate about advancing the field of colorectal surgery, with a strong focus on colorectal cancer, robotic and minimally invasive surgery, and endoluminal techniques. He is dedicated to contributing to impactful clinical research and improving patient outcomes through the integration of novel surgical technologies. He plans to pursue a general surgery residency in the United States, with the long-term goal of specializing in colorectal surgery.
