Dr. Hyun Tae Lim is a Clinical Fellow in Colorectal Surgery at Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH). He graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine in 2016 and completed his internship at SNUH in 2017. From 2017 to 2021, Dr. Lim undertook residency training in general surgery at SNUH, where he honed his expertise in various surgical procedures and patient care. Following his residency, he fulfilled three years of national service (2021–2024) as a medic in the South Korean army, an experience that further reinforced his commitment to advancing surgical care.
Dr. Lim returned to SNUH in 2024 to begin his fellowship in colorectal surgery. His clinical interests focus on minimally invasive surgical techniques for colorectal cancer, reflecting his dedication to improving patient outcomes through advanced and less invasive approaches.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Lim is actively involved in researches aimed at improving colorectal cancer treatment. Through his comprehensive training, Dr. Lim has cultivated a patient-centered approach that emphasizes both technical excellence and compassionate care. He is committed to advancing the field of colorectal surgery while ensuring his patients receive the highest quality care tailored to their individual needs.
