I was born in Iran, where I completed my general surgery training and a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery. After finishing my fellowship in 2019, I worked as a surgeon in both academic and private hospitals for four years. Since February 2024, I have been working as a research associate in the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical School.
