Pornraksa Ovartchaiyapong, MD

Pornraksa Ovartchaiyapong, MD is a junior consultant and clinical educator in the Department of Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand. Specializing in colorectal surgery, Dr. Ovartchaiyapong is dedicated to advancing surgical techniques and education.

He completed his medical degree with First Class Honors from Mahidol University, followed by a Board of General Surgery at Maharat Nakhonratchasima Hospital. He further specialized through a minimally invasive surgery fellowship at Ramathibodi Hospital and a colorectal surgery fellowship at Siriraj Hospital.

Dr. Ovartchaiyapong actively contributes to research in colorectal cancer and surgical innovation. At this year’s American Society of Colorectal Surgeons Annual Scientific Meeting, he will present a video on the trans-sacrococcygeal removal of a rectal gastrointestinal tumor, highlighting innovative approaches in colorectal surgery.
