My name is Dr. Sara Hajizadeh Barfjani, M.D., and I’m a general surgery resident at Riverside Community Hospital in Riverside, California. Currently, I am the academic chief at my residency program. I have a strong interest in colorectal surgery. My clinical and research work has focused on minimally invasive and robotic-assisted colorectal procedures, including outcomes in obese, elderly, and other high-risk patient populations. I am thrilled to have the the opportunity to present at ASCRS and am committed to advancing evidence-based surgical care and improving outcomes for patients with colorectal disease.
