My name is Benjamin Gallant, MD and I am currently one of the Mark Kusek Colorectal Surgery Research Fellows in the Department of Colon and Rectal Surgery at UMass Memorial Medical Center. I am a General Surgery resident at UMass Memorial Medical Center, having successfully completed both my PGY-1 and PGY-2 years before beginning my research. I am interested in pursuing a Colorectal Surgery Fellowship upon completing my General Surgery training. Originally from just outside Worcester, MA, I completed my medical school education at Albany Medical College. I am excited to present my research from UMass at ASCRS 2025 and look forward to meeting and networking with colleagues in the field of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
