James Charles, MD is a 3rd year general surgery resident at Lousiana State University in New Orleans. My interest in colorectal surgery began as a medical student in large part because I had a great colorectal surgeon mentor. This interst has grown while in residency and I plan to persue a colorectal fellowship following graduation in 2027.
