Eric Dailey has been a nurse practitioner in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Mayo Clinic Rochester since 2017. He works alongside four other nurse practitioners and 11 anorectal surgeons in an outpatient colon and rectal surgery clinic. He performs clinic evaluations for common anorectal conditions as well as procedures including incision and drainage of perianal abscess/pilonidal cyst, hemorrhoid banding, thrombosed hemorrhoid excision/incision, hemorrhoidal tag excision and perianal biopsies. Other conditions evaluated and treated include inflammatory bowel disease, colon and rectal cancer, and anal cancer as it pertains to surgery. Eric has presented on anorectal conditions at nursing grand rounds and for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. He is interested in not only expanding his own knowledge but the knowledge of others when it pertains to evaluating, diagnosing, and treating common colorectal and anorectal conditions.
