Dr. Julia Kohn MD is a general surgery resident at the University of Minnesota, where she is currently in her second research year. Her research interests include cancer outcomes; the colon microbiota, its mediators, and the effects of dysbiosis on surgical outcomes; and anal cancer prevention in at-risk individuals, especially in the LGBTQ+ community.
