Kristy Rumer MD, PhD, FACS is a Colorectal Surgeon-Scientist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Her clinical practice includes the broad range of pathologies seen by Colorectal Surgeons. Her research focuses on immune and epithelial interactions in Crohn's Disease with a particular focus on perianal Crohn's Disease. She is a participating investigator in the STOPM-II randomized control trial evaluating stem-cell seeded on matrix plugs in the treatment of Crohn's perianal fistulas.
