Anastasiya Shchatsko, MD

Anastasiya Shchatsko, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon and currently a colorectal surgery fellow at AdventHealth Orlando. She has a particular interest in colon and rectal cancer surgery, with a strong foundation in essential general surgery procedures, including colonoscopies and EGDs. Dr. Shchatsko specializes in minimally invasive techniques — such as robotic, laparoscopic, and transanal surgery — particularly for colorectal cancer and pelvic floor disorders. She also has extensive experience with a broad range of open and anorectal surgeries. With her comprehensive background in general surgery and advanced endoscopy skills, Dr. Shchatsko is well-equipped to manage patients with a variety of colorectal and general surgery conditions. She is trained in DaVinci robotics and holds certifications in Fundamentals of Endoscopic Surgery (FES) and Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery (FLS). Passionate about advancing medical science, Dr. Shchatsko has had the privilege of presenting her research at both national and international conferences.
