I am currently an associate professor of colorectal surgery at Gangnam Severance Hospital. I graduated from CHA University School of Medicine, and underwent internship, residency and fellowship at Bundang CHA Hospital. I continued my practice as second year fellow at Gangnam Severance Hospital after which I was appointed as clinical professor in 2024. I focus on minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic colorectal cancer surgery as well as cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC in stage IV colorectal cancers. My interest in research encompasses both surgical techniques as well as the effect of sarcopenia in various aspects of colorectal cancer.
