Danique Heuvelings (MD) is a PhD Candidate at Department of Surgery Maastricht (The Netherlands). Her main focus is colorectal cancer complications, especially colorectal anastomotic leakage. Focus research topics are consensus regarding defining and report leaks, fluorescence imaging (ICG/MB but also laser speckle imaging), and evaluating overall AL impact on patients.
