I am Professor Dr. Md. Kamruzzaman Khan. I was born in 15th February, BANGLADESH. I am BANGLADESHI by birth. I have completed my Secondary School examination in 1970 and Higher Secondary Certificate examination in 1972. I have completed my MBBS degree in November 1979 from Mymensingh Medical College under Dhaka University. I have completed my fellowship “Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in Surgery from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in July 1987. I join the Government service in December 1979 and continued till September 2003. After that I join the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in September 2003 and continue my job till December 2010. I am a Member of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Society of Asia (Hong kong). I become an International Member of Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) in April 2010 for academic and clinical achievement. I become a Fellow of American College of Surgeons (FACS) in October 2011. I became a member of colorectal surgery (ASCRS). I am a General Surgeon with special interest in laparoscopic surgery and colorectal surgery. After my retirement from university I joined a private Medical college on September 2011 and continue the job till April 2015. I teach the undergraduate and post graduate students in Medical colleges and BSMMU. I am a visiting Professor for post graduate students as a curriculum of BCPS. I am also a trainer for surgical trainee in graduate students and post graduate students for the Fellowship course of BCPS. During this long time as a surgical service provider, I worked in the Government hospitals, Medical college hospitals, University hospital and Dhaka Community Medical College hospital. Besides I serve the people in private service through some institute, hospitals, OPD clinic centre, Friday clinic, weekly clinic in different part of the country.
