Dr. Abhijit Chandra, MS, M.Ch, currently working as Professor and Head, Dept. of Surgical Gastroenterology at the prestigious King George's Medical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in India. Did his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from the same institute, and M.Ch. (Surgical Gastroenterology) from GB Pant Institute of Medical Education and Reasearch, Delhi University in India. He then did his Fellowship in Sepsis/ARDS Research at University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX, USA. Areas of interest include Colorectal Surgery: Fecal incontinence, Total Anorectal Reconstruction, Anal Transplantation; Molecular Pathogenesis of Gall Bladder Cancer; Cadaveric Organ Donation and Retrieval and Liver Transplantation.
