I am Prof. Aras Emre Canda, a surgeon specializing in general and colorectal surgery. I completed my medical education and general surgery residency at Dokuz Eylul University, where I also earned my PhD in Basic Oncology. Currently, I work at my private clinic and as an affiliated surgeon at Acıbadem Izmir Kent Hospital.
My primary areas of focus include colorectal cancer, peritoneal carcinomatosis, and hernia surgery. Over the years, I have gained experience in advanced surgical procedures such as cytoreductive surgery, HIPEC, and minimally invasive techniques. I have also contributed to various scientific publications and participated in national and international conferences.
I strive to combine clinical practice with academic research, aiming to contribute to advancements in surgical techniques and improve patient outcomes.
