Toufeeq Suliman is currently a fellow in Colon & Rectal Surgery at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He completed his General Surgery residency at Marshall University in West Virginia. He earned his medical degree from Avalon University School of Medicine, where he developed a strong interest in the field of Colon & Rectal Surgery.
Dr Suliman was drawn to colorectal surgery due to the wide array of diseases treated within the specialty and the opportunity to make a tangible difference in patients' lives. He is particularly passionate about managing complex conditions that often require a multidisciplinary approach, and he is committed to achieving excellent outcomes for his patients.
As a Colon & Rectal Surgery fellow, Dr Suliman is focused on expanding his surgical skills and deepening his understanding of both common and rare colorectal conditions. His long-term goal is to continue making a positive impact in the lives of patients, offering effective treatments while striving for optimal results in every case.
