Alexandra Jones, MD, MS

Dr. Alexandra Jones is a PGY-4 resident at the University of Louisville Department of Surgery. She holds both a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Master of Science (MS) in Physiology and has served as a researcher at the Price Institute of Surgical Research. She also served as a member of the DCR Reviewers' Guild from 2023 to 2024. Her research interests center on surgical education and early-onset colorectal disease. Dr. Jones is applying for a colorectal fellowship this year, intending to further her dedication to bridging the gap between innovative scientific findings, surgical practice, and advancing patient education.
