LT Ama Winland, MD, MEd HPE is a PGY-4 general surgery resident at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. During her research year, she obtained her Masters in Education in Health Professions Education, developed surgical curricula, and performed education research as an ACS AEI Surgical Education and Simulation Fellow. Additionally, she was a surgical research fellow with the Colorectal Research Unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She is hoping to pursue a career in Colorectal Surgery after graduating from residency.
