My name is Alex Posch. I am a fourth-year surgical resident at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield Massachusetts. I am interested in colon and rectal surgery and will be applying for fellowship this upcoming year. I graduated from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania where I captained the Bullets baseball team. Then I worked for the United States Army Research Instititute of Environmental Medicine, developing human training protocols to assist our Warfighters in acclimitizing to high altitude environments. I enrolled in Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where I completed my medical education before beginning surgical residency.
