Cyprien Jungels, DO is a general surgery resident at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, CO. He was born in France and moved to the US as a child, where he learned English and tried to lose his French accent. He received his undergraduate degree from Boston University and his medical degree from Rocky Vista University-College of Osteopathic Medicine in Colorado. Having loved anatomy in medical school, he was drawn to surgery for its ability to quickly "fix" people's problems. He is planning on applying for colorectal surgery fellowship in the 2025 cycle and is very excited to return to the ASCRS annual scientific meeting for a second time this year.
