Darian L. Hoagland, MD is a General Surgery Resident at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She has completed the ACS/AEI Surgical Simulation Fellowship at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center and is currently the inaugural Lunder Fellow in Simulation Education at the Shapiro Insitute. She plans to pursue a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery. Her academic interests include resident motivation in technical skills training, the development of residents as educators, and functional outcomes in colon and rectal surgery.
