Dr. Catherine Tran is a Colon & Rectal Surgery fellow at the University of Minnesota. She completed her General Surgery residency and an NIH T32 grant-funded Surgical Oncology research fellowship at the University of Iowa. Her previous basic science and translational research focused on the creation of patient-derived xenograft models for small bowel and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. Her current research interests include utilizing large databases for colorectal health services and health outcomes research.
