Claudia DiVenti, RN, BSN, has a dual role at Cleveland Clinic Florida as a nurse research coordinator and the Low Anterior Resection Syndrome (LARS) nurse at the Digestive Disease Institute's LARS Clinic. Claudia's previous nursing background includes oncology, medical surgical, telemetry, ICU, trauma, and emergency medicine. Her clinical interests are benign and malignant colorectal and anorectal diseases, and prehabilitation. Upon graduating from Marymount University with her Masters of Science in Nursing and Doctor in Nursing Practice degrees in May of 2025, she plans to transition into a Colorectal Surgery Nurse Practitioner.
Claudia is well versed in leading quality improvement initiatives, and managing investigator-initiated studies and programs focused on improving recovery and functional outcomes after colorectal surgery. Claudia recently completed a teaching fellowship at Marymount University to complement her leadership experience as clinical instructor, charge nurse, and new graduate nurse/nursing student preceptor. She is also a steering committee member of the LARS Collaborative, an international group dedicated to understanding and improving the lives of individuals affected by Low Anterior Resection Syndrome (LARS).
