Dr. Gianluca Rizzo, MD, PhD
Dr. Gianluca Rizzo is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in colorectal and digestive surgery at the Gemelli Isola Hospital in Rome and Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli IRCCS. He is also a faculty member at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where he teaches General and Emergency Surgery. Dr. Rizzo has extensive expertise in colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques. He has author of numerous publications in national and international journals and serves on the board of various surgical societies.
