Susan Muncner MD is a General Surgery resident physician in her PGY-3 year at the University of Alberta program in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She is concurrently completing her Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology investigating the development of an automated artificial intelligence tool for rectal cancer MRI staging accuracy. Her research interests include rectal cancer imaging, quality improvement for robotic surgery programs, and surgical capacity development in low-resource settings.
