Kera L. Kwan, MD

Kera Kwan is a third-year general surgery resident and first-year research fellow in the National Clinician Scholars Program at UCLA. She is currently pursuing an MS in Health Policy and Management. Her research focuses on addressing surgical disparities through mixed-methods approaches, with an emphasis on identifying modifiable factors to reduce racial disparities in rectal cancer treatment and outcomes. Additionally, she is investigating barriers to implementing non-operative approaches for patients with rectal cancer.
