Razmik Ghukasyan, MD, MBA

Dr. Razmik Ghukasyan, MD, MBA, is currently completing his fellowship in colorectal surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his medical degree and completed his general surgery residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Ghukasyan is passionate about advancing the understanding of early-onset sporadic colorectal adenocarcinoma. His research will focus on elucidating the links between environmental pathogen exposure and the development of this disease by utilzing murine models. In addition to his clinical and research pursuits, Dr. Ghukasyan has a strong interest in healthcare operations and leadership. He is committed to improving healthcare systems and addressing disparities in care through multidisciplinary collaboration and innovation. Through his work, Dr. Ghukasyan strives to integrate cutting-edge research, surgical expertise, and efficient healthcare delivery to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of colorectal surgery.
