David W. Dietz, MD is Vice Chair of Value and Transformation and Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine
He is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College and completed both General Surgery Residency and Colorectal Surgery Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Dietz’s main clinical interests are reoperative abdominal and pelvic surgery, redo pelvic pouch surgery, locally-advanced and recurrent rectal cancer, and continent ileostomy surgery. He is a founder and Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee of the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC).
