William J. Harb, MD is an Associate Professor of Surgery at The University of Tennessee, Nashville, and a colorectal surgeon in private practice at The Colorectal Center in Nashville.
Upon attaining his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, he elected to stay there for his general surgery training. After leaving Memphis, Dr. Harb completed a fellowship at the renowned M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He subsequently completed a colorectal surgery fellowship in Pittsburgh. He is an Associate Editor of Diseases of the Colon and Rectum, an Associate Examiner of the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery, and heads up the new ASCRS Community and Private Practice Group.
