Glenn Ault, MD, MSEd., FACS, FASCRS, is the Senior Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education and Designated Institutional Official at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Dr. Ault, a Professor of Surgery, is responsible for the strategic direction and development of GME in USC’s health system. Dr. Ault also serves as an associate program director for the General Surgery residency and is the past program director of the Colorectal Surgery residency.
Dr. Ault received his bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College, his medical degree from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Southern California. Nationally, Dr. Ault has served on the American College of Surgeons Resident Education Committee and is currently on the steering committee for the ACS’s Second Surgery Curriculum. Dr. Ault is a past president of the Association of Program Directors in Colorectal Surgery, the immediate past chair of the Review Committee for Colon and Rectal Surgery at the ACGME and is a past president of the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Hejust completed a term as a senior advisor to the board. He is also a member of the American College of Surgeons Academy of Master Surgeon Educators. He is currently a member-at-large of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons Executive Committee.
