Dr. Kavalukas completed General Surgery Residency at Vanderbilt University, and Colorectal Surgery Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida. Since completing her training, she has joined the University of Louisville faculty, where she serves as the Associate Program Director for the Colorectal Fellowship and is the 3rd year Medical Student Surgery Clerkship Director. Her research interests involve population-based studies regarding Environmental Influences on Colorectal Cancer risk.
