Joy Chen, MD (she/her/hers)

Joy Chen, MD, MS, completed her general surgery residency at Stanford and colorectal surgery fellowship at University of Minnesota. She joined the faculty at University of Washington in 2020. Starting in 2025 she will be at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, CA, where she looks forward to building a colorectal program to serve the county population as well as being close to family. Outside of work, Joy loves spending time with her young daughter and is working on returning to running.
