Marcella W. Bradway MD FACS FASCRS, Chair of Surgery, Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield Massachusetts, Associate Professor of Surgery, UMass Chan Medical School, Assistant Professor of Surgery, Boston University School of Medicine. Practicing colon and rectal surgery in academic and community settings for 24 years, Dr. Bradway is currently practicing in western Massachusetts in an independent, non-profit hospital which provides a full range of cancer care affiliated with Dana Farber Cancer Center. Berkshire Medical Center also houses an independent surgical residency with teaching affiliations including UMass Chan Medical School, Boston University and the University of New England School of Osteopathic Medicine. She has received numerous awards including best teacher, most patient-centered physician, and Physician of the Year. Regionally active in colorectal surgery, she is currently the secretary of the New England Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery. When not in surgery, she enjoys living in the beautiful Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts with her husband and 2 sons, hiking, skiing, paddling lakes and enjoying the myriad of cultural activities available in the Berkshires incuding Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival, local theaters and art museums.
