Karyn Stitzenberg, MD, MPH is Professor and Acting Chief of Surgical Oncology at the University of North Carolina. She is the physician leader of the colorectal cancer program at North Carolina Cancer Hospital. Her clinical practice focuses on the care of patients with lower GI malignancies and complex pelvic tumors. As a health services researcher, her research is focused on the organization and delivery of multidisciplinary cancer care .
