Kelly M. Tyler, MD, FACS, FASCRS is a Professor of Surgery and the Division Chief of Colorectal Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School - Baystate in Springfield, MA. She and her team have built a standalone division of Colorectal surgery with a dedicated academic service during her time at UMMS Chan-Baystate. She serves the ASCRS as a member of the Executive Council, an advisor to the Healthcare Economics Committee, and the ASCRS Advisor to the AMA Relative Value Scale Update Committee (RUC). She has special interests in mentorship and teaching, healthcare economics, legislation, policy, and advocacy in addition to healthcare quality and healthcare administration.
