Constipation is a very common complaint. There are several different causes of constipation and not everyone can be fixed with a laxative. This symposium will provide an overview of constipation, discuss how to differentiate between types of constipation and treat each one effectively, and when to determine if a patient may need further workup or surgical intervention.
