The field of endoluminal surgery has witnessed remarkable evolution in recent years, underscoring the critical importance of effective and minimally invasive management strategies in colorectal surgery. This symposium will address how colorectal surgeons can incorporate cutting-edge advancements in complex endoscopy techniques, including EMR, ESD, endoscopic full-thickness resection, and endoscopic suturing into their practices. It will also explore reasons why every forward-thinking colorectal surgeon should become acquainted with this space and strive to gain essential skillsets and knowledge to expand and shape our field.
