Recognize the statistics surrounding non-operative management of rectal cancer.
Develop a working knowledge of the key clinical trials and when to apply each strategy to your patients.
Establish a strategy for the surgical management of metastatic rectal cancer.
Explain the key risks and benefits of neoadjuvant therapy for rectal cancer.

This symposium will be a panel discussion with faculty debating the management of complicated issues in the treatment of rectal cancer, including incorporation of recent clinical trials.
