SUBMIT YOUR LATE-BREAKING ABSTRACTS

Includes High-Impact Clinical Trials, Trials-in-Progress, and New Technology

You are invited to submit abstracts of clinical trials, including trials-in-progress, and New Technology to be considered for presentation during dedicated sessions at the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery Scientific Meeting in
San Diego, California, May 10 - 13, 2025.

What Research Can I Submit?

The Clinical Trials and Trials-in Progress session will highlight important colorectal clinical trials with an emphasis on research that will directly impact surgical science and practice. This call is limited to prospective clinical trials that are either ready to start enrolling (approved by regulatory), currently enrolling or have completed enrollment but not published in a peer-review journal.

The New Technology session highlights the development, integration, evaluation, and dissemination of new technology in the practice of colon and rectal surgery. 

What If I Presented It Elsewhere?

Both original research and research presented at other meetings within the past six months may be submitted. Work that is currently under review or accepted for publication may be submitted. Peer-reviewed published research is not eligible for submission. Abstracts accepted for podium presentation will not require manuscript submission to Diseases of the Colon and Rectum. These abstracts will not be published in the online issue of the Journal.

What Are The Submission Dates?

Submissions will be accepted beginning December 18, 2024, with a deadline of January 29, 2025 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Notification of acceptance will be sent by the end of February 2025.
